How much does the next SPYD Training cost?

What does the cost include?
All materials, lunch, certificate of attendance.

Who can come to the next SPYD Training?
Anyone who works with youth in any capacity, whether they are a volunteer or paid staff, professional or student, youth minister, teacher, after school care providers, etc. Parents are welcome, but the focus of this event is how to programmatically build assets, not on family asset building.

Is this training open to youth?
No, this training is intended for adults who work with youth.

Can I pay with a credit card? How?
Yes, although credit card payments incur a $5 per person processing fee to cover our costs. To pay with a credit card, visit www.guideinc.org and then follow these instructions:
1. Click on the “About GUIDE” tab and scroll down to click on “Donations.”
2. On right side, put $80 per person in the box and click “Donate now.”
3. You’ll be directed to PayPal, where you can pay via your PayPal account, credit or debit card.
4. Print the payment receipt generated by PayPal and include it with your mailed or faxed registration form.

How do I use a purchase order?
To use a purchase order, mail or fax the purchase order with your registration form. We will generate an invoice and return it to the appropriate person.

Can I register more than one person from my agency?
Yes, as long as space allows. If you have more than 15 people from an agency desiring to attend, we suggest contracting with us to hold an event just for your agency. To explore that possibility, contact Jessica@georgiati.org.

What is the capacity of the training event?
40 people is our ideal number.

Do we have to fill out the demographics portion of the registration form? Why?
Yes, because we use grant funding to offset the costs of the training event we are required to report demographics information to these funders. They are not associated with your name and none of your information will ever be sold, rented or otherwise given to anyone besides our staff and will only be used for purposes related to this event.

Can I buy the materials but not come to the training?
No. In order to receive the materials for the SPYD training, you must attend the event.

If I’ve paid, but now I can’t come, can I get a refund?
Cancellations received by one week prior to the event will receive a refund less a $5 processing fee. Registered individuals who do not cancel by this deadline and do not attend will not receive refunds or materials. Registered individuals may be substituted with no penalty at any time. If you need to substitute someone, we request that you let us know as soon as possible rather than waiting until the day of the event.
